Surveillance and networking solution to enhance security & Monitoring.
At Shalimar Garden, we implemented a comprehensive surveillance and networking solution to enhance security and monitoring across the site. The project involved the design and installation of a fiber optic cable network, incorporating Power over Ethernet (PoE) switches at approximately 15 strategically selected locations. Using a ring topology, the network ensured reliable and efficient data transmission throughout the garden. In conjunction with the fiber optics, we also installed a complete electrical cabling system to power the network and associated devices.
To provide robust surveillance coverage, we installed high-resolution 4MP bullet cameras and advanced PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) cameras. These devices were strategically positioned to monitor the garden’s extensive boundary walls, open areas, and key points of interest. This ensured 360-degree coverage and minimized blind spots, enhancing overall security.
A state-of-the-art control room was established as part of the project, featuring two large LCD screens for seamless monitoring of the CCTV system. Additionally, for operational convenience, another LCD was installed in the office of the Shalimar Garden in-charge, enabling easy access and real-time monitoring capabilities for authorized personnel.
To ensure uninterrupted operation of the surveillance system, especially during power outages, a 3kVA Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system was installed. This backup system guarantees continuous vigilance and maintains the integrity of the security infrastructure.
